Cookie Policy

Last updated: 8 August 2026

Short version: gebiz.ai sets no cookies on your browser at all. We run no advertising trackers and send nothing to Google Analytics, Meta, or any other third party. We do measure visitor numbers, using privacy-focused analytics software we host on our own server, it uses no cookies, cannot follow you to other websites, and never records who you are. To keep you signed in we use your browser's local storage, which is strictly necessary for the service to work.

1. Do we use cookies?

No. gebiz.ai does not set any cookies on your browser, not for advertising, not for analytics, not for anything else. We load no third-party scripts: no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session-replay or heatmap tools, no social media trackers. Nothing about your visit is shared with an advertising network or an outside analytics provider.

We do count visits, using self-hosted analytics described in section 3 below. It sets no cookies either, which is why there is still no cookie consent banner on this site, there are no non-essential cookies to consent to.

2. What we do store in your browser

We use local storage (a browser storage mechanism, not a cookie, it is never transmitted automatically with requests, and is readable only by gebiz.ai). It holds the following:

KeyPurposeLifetime
gba_tokenYour signed-in session token, so you don't have to log in on every visit.Expires after 30 days; removed on sign-out.
gba_planYour current plan, so the interface shows the right features without an extra request.Until sign-out.
gba_pending_plan
gba_pending_billing
Remembers which plan you clicked if you have to sign up before checkout.Cleared as soon as checkout starts.
intel_since
mi_since, mi_source
Remembers your last-viewed date range and filter on the Intelligence pages, so they reopen where you left off.Until you clear site data.
umami.disabledOnly ever set by you, to opt out of analytics (see section 3). We never write it, we only check whether you have.Until you clear site data.

All of these are strictly necessary or purely functional. None of them is used to profile you, track you across other websites, or build an advertising audience.

3. Analytics

We measure how many people visit gebiz.ai and which pages they read, using Umami: open-source, privacy-focused analytics that we run on our own server. Your visit data is never sent to Google, Meta, or any other company; it stays on the same infrastructure that serves this site.

What it records for each page view:

What it does not do:

Because it stores nothing on your device and identifies nobody, this does not require consent under Singapore's PDPA and no banner is shown. You can still opt out at any time, open your browser's developer console on gebiz.ai and run:

localStorage.setItem('umami.disabled', 1)

That flag stays in your browser until you clear site data, and every page you load afterwards is excluded from our statistics. Ordinary tracker-blocking extensions also stop it, and the site works exactly the same either way.

4. Third-party cookies when you leave our site

Some actions hand you over to a third party, who then applies their own cookie policy on their own domain, not on gebiz.ai:

We have no control over, and no access to, cookies set by these providers. Please refer to their own policies for details.

5. How to remove what we store

Signing out clears your session token. To remove everything, clear site data for gebiz.ai in your browser settings (in most browsers: Settings → Privacy → Cookies and site data → See all site data). The only effect is that you will be signed out and your saved page filters will reset, no account data is affected.

Blocking local storage entirely will prevent you from staying signed in, as there would be nowhere to hold your session.

6. Changes to this policy

Self-hosted analytics was added on 8 August 2026, and this page was updated to describe it before it went live. That is the standard we hold ourselves to: if we ever adopt anything that stores data on your device, follows you across sites, or identifies you personally, we will update this page and add a consent mechanism before it goes live, not after.
